The world needs science, and science needs women: with this slogan, the best young scientists in Ukraine are being determined for the fifth time. At the ceremony held on December 7,L’Oréal Ukraine announced the names of three laureates, winners of the fifth season of the Ukrainian L’Oréal-UNESCO Award “For Women in Science”. Among them is Khrystyna Hnatenko, one of the leading members of the Lviv photonics ecosystem, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor of the Department of Theoretical Physics named after Professor Ivan Vakarchuk of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
