On August 14, 2023, a meeting of representatives of the Lviv community of photonics and quantum technologies took place with the manager of the German Photonics, Optics, Quantum, and Nanotechnology Cluster by Mike Richardson, testified in Linkedin Oleksa Wozniak, deputy of the city council and coordinator of the Lviv photonics ecosystem.
Clusters and partners of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance also took part in the meetup — the head of the Lviv cluster of medical business Olesya Khaletska, president Agency of European innovations Ivan Kulchytskyy and representatives of Lviv Tech Cluster. The participants jointly visited the most innovative Lviv location -Tech StartUp School.
Tech StartUp School is an environment that unites startups and innovators of various high-tech areas.
The head of the Tech StartUp School, Nazar Podolchak, spoke in detail about the activities of the innovative environment and the startups created and developed here.
From my side, Mike RICHARDSON, spoke about the opportunities that the German cluster of photonics, optics, quantum, and nanotechnologies can provide. He also met Lviv startups — residents of the Tech StartUp School.
As Oleksa Wozniak says — “We have found many matches that are mutually beneficial for all parties, so we have drawn up a road map for their implementation and establishment of relations with colleagues from the European Union and other countries of the world. For example, Mike’s help in organizing purchases of high-tech chips and spare parts from Taiwanese manufacturers can be very promising. Those who are in the know why it is so important today.”
Mike Richardson’s visit took place within the framework of cooperation with the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance and the newly created Ukrainian photonics cluster.
